Plates documenting the ceremonial public unveilings by His Majesty the Aliʻi Nui Aleka Aipoalani of the Polynesian Kingdom of Atooi of the historic flag of the Hawaiian Kingdom reported to have been taken down at the time of the overthrow of the Crown in the year 1893 — recorded at the Bishop Museum upon the Island of Oʻahu and before the press and Federal agency representatives upon the Island of Kauaʻi, witnessed in the public record of The Garden Island newspaper.
