- The Aliʻi Nui signed the decree in Papeʻete. Copies were carried to a range of French Polynesian administrative, judicial and customary offices, where each in turn received and date-stamped a copy for record. Each office returned a date-stamped receipt copy, held in the archive. No office has published a response.
