    Decrees & Orders of the Kingdom

    This register holds two groups of instrument. The modern issuances are formal decrees, orders and proclamations issued by His Majesty the Aliʻi Nui through the Office of the Sovereign, each entered into the archival record with a unique reference number. The historical instruments are earlier decrees of the Hawaiian Kingdom held in the Kingdom’s archive; they were not issued by the present Aliʻi Nui. Every entry below is labelled with its group.

    Decrees are presented in reverse chronological order. The first page of each instrument is shown for public inspection; the full certified document is held in the Kingdom’s private archive and may be requested through the formal access channel.

    Royal Decree on Peace, Friendship and Diplomacy

    On June 27, 2025, His Majesty Aliʻi Nui Aleka Aipoalani signed a Royal Decree on Peace, Friendship and Diplomacy in Papeʻete. Copies of the decree were carried to the twelve French Polynesian administrative, judicial, and customary offices listed on the record page, where each in turn received and date-stamped a copy for record. The date-stamped receipt copies are held in the Diplomatic Archive under reference KOA-FP-2025-06-27.
