Summary

A declaration signed at Kapaʻa on 8 September 2010 by Aliʻi Nui Aleka Aipoalani for the Polynesian Kingdom of Atooi and by signatories who signed in their customary capacities — an Ariki Nui of Polynesia and paramount, hereditary and customary leaders from Rapa Nui, Fiji, Rarotonga, Mangaiʻa, Tuvalu, Samoa, Rurutu, Tuamotu and Tonga, together styled the Union of Pacific Nations (TMAK). By it the undersigned recognise the right of the Polynesian Kingdom of Atooi to exist peacefully in perpetuity and undertake to honour and support its human rights, civil liberties and political autonomy. That recognition holds between the signing parties, under their own customary authority. The signatories did not sign for the governments of the states in which their islands lie, and the document does not record any approval or authorisation by those governments.

Treaty Of the Polynesian Kingdom of Atooi Greetings and Aloha Whereas, with the intent to restore rightful self determination to the Polynesian Kingdom of Atooi (the Hawaiian Kingdom of the Kamehameha dynasty); to re-establish autonomous self-governance of this island nation; to promote the health, welfare and liberty of all Hawaiian (Kanaka Maoli) and non-Hawaiian people residing therein, in order to allow such inhabitants, of every ethnicity and culture, to enjoy their well deserved and divinely appointed freedoms, to freely express their cultures, honor their ancestral lands and preserve their rights to life, liberty and self-determination; and with a desire to promote perpetual peace, friendship and re-establish reciprocal commerce between this island nation, and other recognized nations of the world, We, the undersigned, solemnly swear to honor and support the human rights, civil liberties and political autonomy of the Polynesian Kingdom of Atooi, recognizing its right to peacefully exist, in perpetuity.
